The Experience

Portrait Sessions

What types of sessions do you offer?

I offer two types of session; Lifestyle and Fine Art.

Lifestyle sessions are semi-planned. They take place in a location personal to you, for example your home or a local park. Here I photograph the naturalness of you and/or your family. We let events unfold and I document your lives in photographs.

Fine Art sessions are meticulously planned. They include the use of props and are based on a theme, a colour or a simple idea.

What do I get with my portrait session?

You receive a phone call, a skype call or emails from me (whichever suits you best) so that we can discuss and plan your session. This way you receive a personalised service from me and we discuss locations, themes, colours, clothing and lots more ideas!

Your session will last between 1-4 hours (see point below) and you will receive my undivided attention.  The photos will be edited and the best 30-50 will be shown to you on a private viewing gallery.

How many hours will my session be?

Portrait sessions tend to last between 1-2 hours, however some newborn/baby sessions can last up to 4 hours. I am very relaxed and my aim is to provide a calm environment to create the best photos we can.

What languages do you speak?

English is my mother tongue, however I also speak French and Spanish to a good level. I speak basic Italian, a sprinkling of German and Japanese and have just started learning Norwegian. I like languages!!

When will my photos be ready?

For portrait sessions, you will receive your photos within 1-2 weeks with a few sneak peeks along the way.

What products do I get with my portrait session?

As part of your package you receive four digital images, a personalised USB and I can provide you with a ‘Design my room session’. You can send me photos of your rooms and walls and we can plan what size photos would best fit your living space. This tailored approach means that you buy the photos you actually want. I offer lots of different types of photo products and you should expect to spend approximately 200-400 euros on printing.

Why do you need weeks from the shooting to the delivery?

I photograph using professional cameras which shoot in RAW. A raw file contains unprocessed data, the digital equivalent to a photo negative. This is why I need time to develop your photos; my images combine both my shooting and my editing style.

Can we have the raw files?

No. Quite simply I am not willing to sell raw files. Photographing and editing are very personal and for this reason my images will always be unique to me.

Can we print the pictures by ourselves?

Yes. Of course. For portrait sessions you will need to purchase digital files which will be provided on a personalised USB.

What is the design your room session?

The design your room session has been created to ensure that you print the photos the exact size your rooms require. You can send me a photo of your living room, your kitchen, bedroom etc and I can show you what photos would look great on your wall and what sizes they would be.

Do you offer gift certificates?

I do. Please contact me if you would like to gift someone this memorable experience, whether it’s an entire phot-oshoot or a contribution towards the cost.

If I am interested, what is the best way to contact you?

Through the ‘Say Hello’ tab right here.

Weddings

How would you describe your photography and your approach to making photos?

My photography is a combination of photojournalism (non-evasive photos, taken from afar) balanced with a few semi-directed shots. I believe that the combination of these two approaches will allow the fun and magic of life to happen naturally. Every part of my work is designed to make you and your guests feel comfortable and relaxed whilst in my presence. I am pretty laid back and like to go with the flow of the day.

Do you travel for weddings?

Of course! I LOVE to travel! If you are planning a wedding overseas, please contact me for a bespoke estimate.

How can we discuss ideas or meet?
