The new studio is now officially up and running. It has taken a lot of planning and some late nights juggling the figures, so I am really proud that today I welcomed my very first potential client into the new space.
When I first saw this space my brain was awash with ideas. You know, the “I want this here and this here and that there..” I was like an over excited child having a birthday! Over time, I composed those thoughts and carefully planned what I wanted to achieve.
I have at least five separate areas if I am photographing children and three to four if I am photographing families or couples. I have a bed which can be used for both children and adults and am just awaiting the most beautiful gold sequined duvet cover to compliment it. I also have a huge number of backdrops and props to flatter any session. From patchwork benches to curved wooden stools and from airplanes to baskets!
With all this space, I have been able to upgrade my lights and now sport some lovely strobe lights to get perfectly lit photos for you.
The studio has a kitchen, I am looking at sourcing sustainable and possibly organic tea and coffee. It also has a large bathroom with a shower, for those messy cake smashes!
